The number pad is 1-7 making the number pad unusable for me. Will be looking for a full number pad on future purchases.

Works great and simple to program. Had trouble using the fingerprint scan. Fits in my closet and is secured to the floor

It's a nice, medium sized safe, big enough, but not too big. But there were many snafus along the way.The keypad and biometrics feature did not work. I followed their directions to personalize the password, but there was something wrong with the electronics. After multiple times, I tried writing the Grimtron's distributor, Grimtron, with my dilemma. They NEVER responded. In despiration, I found a link to the actual manufacturer, Vaultlux, and within 2 days, I had a real person to talk to. They suggested I work with them to try and troubleshoot the problem. To me, that was unacceptable. So I arranged to return the defective unit using Grimtron's, and requested a replacement. The return was free, I just needed to deliver it to a UPS drop-off. Not bad.So meanwhile the new safe arrived. This one was perfect. So my husband packed up the defective one and sent it on its merry way. It was not until the next day, I discovered he had sent the keys to the new unit, too. Oy!One of the reasons I had been impressed with this brand was the guarantee that lost keys would be replaced. So I reached out to Grimtron again. No response, again. And, again, it wasn't until I sent an email to the manufacturer, that things were settled and perfect. I got my new set of keys. Was treated very kindly and quickly by Vaultlux customer service. I am finally in my happy place.Bottom line, thank goodness for Grimtron's's return policy, no thanks whatsoever for Grimtron, the USA distributor, and a big THANK YOU to the best manufacturer's customer service I could have ever have hoped for.

I received the safe and it was well packed. Out-of-the-box, it was easy to set up. I had some questions about replacement keys and contacted customer service and they were very responsive with a reply within a few hours and quickly answered my questions. This is a good solution if you're looking to secure valuables and small firearms. It has two shelves with a fitted carpet mat and one rack to prop handguns. It comes with hardware to secure the safe to a shelf or wall studs. I like that it has a secure key, programmable code and fingerprint option. It is not a heavy/fire-proof but that's not what I was looking for at this time. I'm happy with the purchase!

I got this as a Christmas for someone and they love it. It holds all the important stuff and works as intended. Only issue is that it can’t fit any guns bigger than a hand gun like a 9mm or 45mm. The fingerprint and other features are easy to use.
