The Grimtron Deluxe Safe is a solid choice for anyone looking to secure their valuables at home. It's got a backlit keypad and LED lighting, making it easy to access in the dark. The safe comes with a door organizer, perfect for storing car keys, flashlights, and passports. I already have two small safes, but am always concerned with how easy it would be for a thief to simply carry them off. I ran out of room in those safes, so I thought it was a good time to just get a larger one and solve two problems at once.This safe is fairly heavy, though a bit lighter than I was expecting. Many years ago, we had a similar safe that I remember being much heavier. One advantage is that this safe has pre-drilled holes at the bottom, allowing you to bolt it down for added security if you want to.🔎 It should be noted that this safe IS NOT designed to protect against water💧 or fire 🔥.It didn’t take very long to set up the passcode on this safe, although the instructions could have been a little clearer. You have to press the # button after entering the numbers. While the passcode feature is convenient, I feel a lot better about being able to open it with a key as well. It comes with two keys, and you can contact the manufacturer if you require additional keys.In the event the passcode is entered incorrectly five times, the lockout mechanism will activate, and the keypad will be disabled for five minutes. (Of course, you can always open it with the key.) If you ever want to change the passcode, it can only be done when the safe is already open. The keypad requires batteries to operate.If the batteries run out, you can use the provided USB cord to power it and enter the passcode, or you use a key to open it. A low battery indicator would have been a nice addition, as it would provide a warning before the batteries run out. I don’t know how long the batteries last, but I imagine it would be a long time if you’re not opening it frequently.The inside of the safe is quite roomy, and has an LED light (runs off the batteries) that allows me to see the contents in the dark. There is a removable shelf/partition, and the inside of the door has a mesh storage bag attached to it. The removable shelf is a useful feature because it gives me the option of storing larger items.Overall, this safe is just what I was looking for and I’m very satisfied with it. As long as you don’t require a fire-proof or water-proof safe, this one is a good choice. It’s great for protecting items against theft.Thanks for reading! I hope this was helpful.

I love this! Its the perfect size for home. I can fit quite a bit in it and it seems really safe. It is water resistant to a regular extent (I didn't submerge it but did poor water over it). The inside is two levels and has an area on the door for extra stuff. It has an led light which makes it easy to open any time of the day. My favorite feature is that I can open it with a code or a key. It is sturdy enough that a normal thief wont be able to break into it, and heavy enough they wont want to walk with it. It fits into most standard wide shelves and bookcases. Would recommend for anyone looking to store their valuables.

Initially was hoping this could act as a fire/water proof vault, but it is not good for that use. It's just a sturdy, good looking vault meant for keeping valuables and fire arms away from children and (uninvited) guests. It's a good size to fit quite a bit inside, and has ways to secure it to the ground or wall to make taking the whole vault away that much harder.

I am very happy with my new safe. It’s the perfect size for what I need plus extra room to grow into in the future.First of all, I’m no safe expert but it seems really strong like it would be very difficult to break into. It’s made of heavy metal and there are huge bolts on the side of the door that lock into place when closed. I haven’t installed it yet, but there is an optional kit to attach the safe to a wall so it can’t be easily moved. This safe is small enough that I can pick it up and move it fairly easily, therefore it could also be stolen fairly easily. So I am debating on where I could place it and if I even want to install it or just hide it in my closet.I love the two locking electronic keypad or manual with a key. The keypad works perfectly and opens the door every time when I enter the code plus the # button. If I want to use the key, I’ve got to slide open a little plastic door that covers the keyhole. This is annoying for me because the door doesn’t slide easily. So I will probably only use the electronic keypad unless I have to use the key.The electronic keypad is battery-powered, and the instructions say not to use a rechargeable battery which sucks. If the battery dies while the safe is closed then you’d better have the physical key. There are two of them so I can keep a spare somewhere else.For storage, this safe has two levels (1 shelf) in the main compartment lined with a soft fabric, and more compartments for small things in a heavy mesh lining on the inside of the door.Overall, this safe is really nice and has performed great so far. I would recommend it!
